Our business

Moss chairs has been established since 1976, we have a highly experienced team with an excellent reputation for making high quality chair frames to the domestic and contract industry. We make a vast range of chair frames from sofas, tub chairs, dining chairs to bar seating and many more. We also work from sketches to provide a one off product.

How long our production takes

Our lead times for production are two / three weeks but can vary on the type and scale of the product, when we receive an order we always acknowledge the week number we are looking to dispatch the good's. Moss chairs endeavour to meet the deadlines required where we can but if this is not possible we will advise you immediately.

Upholstery

At the moment, we do not upholster onsite. However, we have a very good working relationship with a number of local upholsterers who we can rely on and outsource furniture to.

These fine quality craftsmen have many years of experience and are highly skilled in upholstering to the best quality whilst still being competitively priced.

Why Us?

In our manufacturing of frames we use the highest quality European Prime Beech for all Show wood and legs components, and for the main frame we use Birch which also comes from Europe and the Baltic States Government run sustainable forests.

We buy all our timber in plank form and machine it ourselves in our own machine shop. We also use Sheet Materials to specific grades to the furniture industry, for the construction of some of our ranges where the construction has to be strong and robust.

Please note that timber is a natural product with character and colour variation, and both can change, dependant on the atmosphere and environment in which it is placed.
